Besides performing on-stage, Langhorne Players relies on its volunteers for:
  • Staffing the Box Office and ushering for performances
  • Designing our sets, lights, and sound;
  • Building and painting our sets;
  • Finding or making props, costumes, and furniture for each show;
  • Running lights and sound, stage managing;
  • and every other kind of production help

How about volunteering? No experience is required, just a willingness to join in. Please contact us by email volunteer@langhorneplayers.org or leave a phone message on our main number at 215 860 0818. Let us know your area of interest and the best way to reach you. Your message will be returned by a real live Langhorne Player.

Our Volunteer Leaders Come out to any Langhorne Players event and you are likely to meet:

Leslie Jacobsen, President
You won't find her directing actors, but Leslie does keep the group marching in the right direction - when she isn't on stage herself.


Jimmy Perri, Vice President
Also an actor and director, Jimmy sees to it that the technical aspects of each production -- the sets, lights, sound, and so forth -- are taken care of.

Rob Norman, Treasurer
In addition to his work on stage and direction, Rob puts together our programs,keeps our finances straight, and sees to it that the roof is replaced.

Lauren Perry, Secretary
Lauren is the one you see every fall encouraging you to renew your subscription. In addition to taking care of the subscribers and benefit performances, Lauren is our Secretary and acts when the right opportunity presents itself.
